Kyoto Genmaicha Hojicha Tea (Japanese Tea)

This tea comes in a gift-friendly package and is perfect for those who enjoy drinking cold tea throughout the day.
A roasted green tea-based cold brew genmaicha, it has a clear, smooth taste with minimal bitterness.

For the base, we use the same tencha stem hojicha as in Ruiru (West). The softest, most flavorful stems are carefully roasted to bring out a refined aroma and subtle sweetness. The tea is specially cut for cold brewing—finely chopped to enhance extraction and highlight the natural qualities of the leaves.

The gentle fragrance of binchotan charcoal-roasted mochi, crafted by Kyoto’s long-established confectionery shop Narumiya, is preserved in the blend. The result is a beautifully clear amber color and a light, refreshing flavor that’s even more enjoyable when served chilled.

Place one tea bag in a pot, add about 300 ml of cold water, let steep for 30 minutes, stir gently, and serve.
