The Character of Hokkaido Fir
Todomatsu, or Hokkaido fir, is a tree native to the region’s cool northern forests. As a species unique to this landscape, it carries the fresh, woodsy fragrance of its surroundings—a scent we call “Hokkaido fir.”

Fir trees have long symbolized vitality. The botanical name Abies sachalinensis comes from the Latin Abies, meaning “eternal life.” Traditionally used for protection and wellness, fir essential oil remains a gentle companion—especially in cooler months, when care for the throat and breath is essential.

How to Use
Highly volatile even at room temperature, a few drops on fabric—like clothing or by the pillow—release a calming aroma. Dab a drop on your collar before heading out for a fresh, grounded feeling throughout the day. It’s also suitable for diffusers or relaxing aroma massage.
